Weingut Brüder Eser

Germany

The wine estate, located in one of the major wine villages in the Rheingau along the river Rhine, was founded in the 1950’s by the grandfather of the current generation. The brothers Christoph and Thomas took over in 2004 and went on a careful expansion of the vineyard holdings. Their passion is to create long-living outstanding wines that present the whole character of all the different types of terroir from every single vineyard. For Christoph and Thomas it is a matter of principle to protect their soils. The brothers preserve the natural character of the vineyard by abstaining from using herbicides and insecticides and pay strict attention to the compatibility of plant protection for bees and beneficial insects. They manage weeds under the vines with mechanical devices.
To handle the grape with care and patience is our motto during the harvest. They use only gravity to process the grapes to
bring them into a gentle tank press.
