Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is seen as a pioneer in organic viticulture in the Languedoc region. For over 20 years now, Lionel Boutié and is wife Cathy have been building this family business in organic culture.
Situated in Coursan, the vineyards are steeped in history, dating back to the days of the Romans more than 2,000 years ago. The estate now encompasses close to 200 ha organically farmed vineyards. A large portion of these vineyards and the winery originally belonged to the family of Toulouse-Lautrec. Lionel is a member of the fourth generation of this family of vignerons.
A delightful blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Pinot Noir that impresses with its freshness and soft tannins. A long maceration delivers deep colour and complexity. Pleasant aromas of red fruit, figs and a touch of vanilla.

Due to its natural freshness, this wine is a perfect summertime red wine. Great with a backyard barbecue, cedar plank salmon, mushroom dishes and pizza.
A full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and 30% of each Merlot and Syrah. The grapes are harvested at night to ensure their maximum freshness. The wine is aged in fourth-passage barrique for added complexity. Aromas of red berries are complemented by fragrant spicy notes. Ripe tannins lead into a complex, long finish.

Extra care taken in the vineyards, selecting only 100% healthy grapes, eliminates the use of sulphites during the entire production process. This wine is made with 100% Caladoc, a grape that is unique to the south of France. A cross between Grenache and Malbec, it shows a deep colour with shades of purple. Aromas of spice, black pepper, ripe black cherries and blackcurrant are balanced by a fresh acidity and ripe tannins. A powerful yet elegant wine.
