Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Rawlings then spent 15 years living and working in the Cape Winelands in South Africa. This is where his roots and passion for the world of wine were planted and developed. After working with several wineries in various roles in the vineyards, cellars, and tasting rooms, Rawlings obtained a Diploma from the Cape WIne Academy, and he is currently enrolled in the Cape Wine Masters Program. Rawlings further gained valuable experience in wine by working for four years with international cruise lines, overlooking and developing the wine program across multiple fine dining restaurants on sea. During that time, Rawlings was recognized for curating engaging wine experiences for international guests.
Rawlings believes that wine is a universal language that brings people together, and shares the enotri “Roots Matter” philosophy and its commitment to championing wines that are honest, expressive, and true to their origin.
