Made with 100% Cabernet Franc, using the saignant (bleeding) method. A fraction of the juice is taken from the red fermentation vats after a short maceration. This is sufficient to give the wine its inviting, cheerful colour and its delicate aromas. This technique also helps in the elevation of the red wines that the juice has been taken from by concentrating the polyphenols in a smaller volume. The wine is aged for 7 to 8 weeks on its fine lees to enhance the aromatic expression and deliver a wonderfully round, dry rosé wine.
