Château Belingard

France

The area that is now centered by Château Belingard got its name over 3,000 years ago from Beleen, the Celtic God of the Sun. Beleen gaard meaning Garden of the Sun. Vineyards were planted more than 1,000 years ago with the ancestors of Laurent and Sylvie de Bosredon taking over the estate seven generations ago. Each generation left its mark on the development of the estate with Laurent and Sylvie taking steps to modernize the cellars and getting the vineyards certified under the new French designation “Haute Valeur Environnementale”.

In close cooperation with Laurent, the operative part of the vineyards and winery is now overseen by Vianney de Tastes. Under his direction, the wines of Château Belingard have evolved into word class wines that speak of the care given to the vines in the vineyards and carried through to the crafting of the wines in the cellars.
